INVITATION TO SUBMIT A TENDER
You are invited to submit a Tender for the execution and completion of the works described below in accordance with the Drawings and Specification (if any) supplied herewith, the Griffith University Conditions of Tender & Conditions of Contract for ‘Minor Works’ herein, and any other information issued by the Principal for the purposes of tendering.
Description of Works:
Minor demolition and refurbishment of a portion of Room 2.07 within the Arts and Education 2 Building G31 at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus.
Works will include disconnection of existing services, removal of existing cabinetry fixtures and fittings. Design of cabinetry to suit supplied appliances, shop drawings manufacture and installation of new cabinetry with stainless steel benchtops. Details of the appliances supplied by the University are attached. These appliances are, Dishwasher, Fridge / Freezer, Microwave Ovens, Freestanding Induction Oven. Other fittings and fixtures are part of the Contract works.
Electrical services will require augmentation as part of the scope. The existing water supply is non-potable, this will require modification to potable supply as described on the Hydraulic services drawings.
Allow to make good to all floors, walls ceilings and finishes impacted by the works.
The works are described in the attached Architectural and Hydraulic Services drawings.

· The Contract is a Lump Sum Fixed Price not subject to adjustment for rise and fall in costs.
· Tenders shall remain valid for 30 calendar days.
· The tenders will not be opened publicly.
· Tenders will be evaluated in accordance with the following Criteria and weightings, and tenderers are required to address these criteria in their tender submission;
· Construction program (20%) – Provide a detailed program for the works, indicating lead time items, hold points and a single critical path for the works.
· Construction Methodology (20%) – Provide a brief methodology for the works. Nominate any deviations from specification or alternatives proposed.
· Price (60%)
