Groundwater Bore Drilling on Kummerows Road
DES requires a lead contractor that is also a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP), under the contaminated land provisions of the Environmental Protection Act (1994), to undertake the installation of two groundwater monitoring wells near Chinchilla, Queensland. The lead contractor will be appointed Principal Contractor as per the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act (2011).
The installation of two groundwater monitoring wells is for the purpose of assessing potential risks resulting from former Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) activities.
