View Contract Details

The purpose of this contract is to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Operator Company Representative (OCR) for two bore drilling and completion projects near Chinchilla, Queensland.

Each project is being undertaken by a lead contaminated land contractor who has engaged the drilling and associated sub-contractors. The lead contractor is also the Principal Contractor (PC) as per the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS). Please note that the PC may be different between the two projects. The main aspects each project involve:

• The construction (including extensive coring) of two groundwater monitoring bores to depths of       approximately 160m and 130m;
• The completion of two groundwater monitoring bores to depths of approximately 160m and 130m;
• Undertaking wireline operations using a variety of equipment to collect geo-physical information;

The groundwater monitoring bores will be sunk into potentially gaseous (sub-artesian/self-purging bores) and fractured geological strata. All work will be performed under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS).
