| Request for Quote (RFQ): RFQ Reference: AQ 012/2020 - Project Title: Central Energy Plant (CEP) Works Package (WP) 2 - Energex Sub Station Compliance Upgrades.
This RFQ is issued in accordance with AQ’s Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the Provision of Building Services Part A – Minor Works, SOA Reference AQ040/2017.
Approved Tenderers are invited by the State of Queensland represented by the Department of Environment and Science acting through Arts Queensland (AQ) (the Principal) in relation to CEP WP 2 Energex Sub-Station Compliance Upgrades.
An upgrade to several Queensland Cultural Centre High Voltage (HV) assets was completed in 2018. A compliance audit of High Voltage (HV) Switch Room C1 was conducted at the end of this work which identified a number of items requiring rectification. Scope Summary (not exhaustive):
- Egress modifications & replacement of switch room doors
- Emergency lighting & general lighting upgrade
- Direction & exit signs instillation
- Switch room fire rate compliance works
- Painting works.
