Workshop and Coreyard Remediation Plan
The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) has requested a scope of works and budget estimate for work associated with the former workshop area, the core yard area and the stockpile identified as SP1 at the former Collingwood Tin Mine (COLT).
The scope of works is provide advice and a remediation plan. The objective of that scope is to enable on-ground remediation activities to occur (by another contractor) which will result in the workshop area and core yard area being compliant with the requirements of the NEPM for commercial/industrial landuse suitability. This will support transfer of both areas to Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation (JYAC) through meeting expectations as agreed with the Traditional Owner group and JYAC Board.
