Supply and Delivery of Generators to Baal Gammon Site
DNRME Technical Services manages the Wolfram Camp abandoned mine. Water management is a key site risk, as contaminated water needs to be contained to prevent offsite impacts. The site contains numerous pumps for transferring water across site as well as supplying water to enhanced evaporation sprinklers/fans.
These gensets are to provide additional capability for enhanced evaporation, as well as replacement of older units (which will be kept as backup spares) to improve site resilience. This will also reduce long term maintenance requirements for the site, improve system reliability, and safety. Furthermore these generators will be standardised, mine equipped, and with easily available spare parts.
