Queensland Rail operates 156 stations in South East Queensland (SEQ). Most of these stations are not adequately equipped to provide customers with real-time travel information.
Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) provide Queensland Rail Customers with real-time service and disruption information. It is an essential part of keeping the travelling public up to date about their transport options and allow for informed travel decision-making.
This tender aims to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) with suitably qualified and capable supplier/s to deliver the Manufacture, Supply and Installation of PIDS across SEQ Stations, ensuring high quality Service, achieved project deadlines and consistency across SEQ. The Scope of Work has been separated into two (2) parts as detailed below with tenderers able to respond to one or both categories:
- Part A Manufacture and Supply of Display Enclosures and Screens
- Part B Fabrication of Overhead Equipment Enclosures, Brackets and Installation**

From there the Tenderer will need to determine if they would like to proceed to a Tender response.
In order to submit a Tender response, Tenderers will have to register to the SAP Ariba eSourcing system by sending an email to the Contact Officer.
If the Tenderer elects to submit a Tender response, they must do so by using Queensland Rail’s online tendering tool (SAP Ariba eSourcing). All Tender responses will be required to be submitted through the eSourcing system not the QTender website. Responses submitted through QTenders may be deemed as non-conforming.
