| QED677440 Professional Experience Placements Platform - Invitation to Offer (ITO)
The State of Queensland (acting through the Department of Education) is seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of an IT-enabled solution to administer the placement of preservice teachers from Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) across Queensland state schools.
Purpose/Objectives:
- Suppliers are invited by the department to submit an offer for Invitation to Offer No. QED677440 for the provision of an enterprise based cloud solution known as Professional Experience Placements Platform (‘PEx Platform’)
- The administration of placement opportunities will be from mid-2020, with the first system-managed preservice teacher placements to be hosted in Term 1, 2021.
Key attributes of the PEx Platform must be:
(a) Software as a Service
(b) COTS Solution
(c) Cloud hosted
(d) Mobile ready
(e) Integrated Identity Management compatible with the department’s Identity Access Management (IAM) solution and accessible to selected external user accounts
(f) Capable of meeting the department’s security requirements
(g) Capable of aligning with data formats from placement solutions, student management systems and recruitment systems used across Australia.
