Ring Main Unit (RMU) Replacement
Children's Health Queensland (CHQ) require the provision of design and construct services for the replacement of two existing 11KV Ring Main Units (RMU) at Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH) due to the detection of leakage.
The RMUs are critical components of the QCH HV system and requires stored gas for electrical insulation purposes.
Project works include;
2 new RMU’s to replace RMU5 and RMU6.
RMU’s are to be positioned in the locations and using the same methods of installation as the existing RMU’s.
Disconnection and reconnection of existing 11kV cabling.
Disconnection and reconnection of existing Arc Fault Ducting.
Coordination of the Installation of IED’s supplied as part of the IEC 61850 upgrade project.
Connections to the site SCADA system.
