The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a outdoor covered facility at the Emerald Centre for Learning and Wellbeing (CLAW), located at Campbell Street, Emerald QLD 4720.
The works included the design and construction of an insulated roof structure, over a new external deck connected to the existing building, with new services, balustrades, steps and ramps. The position of the building is at the side of the school ample space and working space. All works are to be completed by December 2020
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
