The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new Outdoor Learning Area at Maroochydore State High School, located at 160 Maroochydore Rd, Maroochydore QLD 4558 as part of the School Direct Program.
The new Outdoor Learning Area works consists of a new asphalt court and associated civil works and stormwater, sandstone block seating, two table tennis tables, landscaping, new gravel yarning circle and water bubblers. The position of the outdoor learning area is in the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 22 Janauary 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
