Beachmere State School SEP Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the SEP Refurbishment at Beachmere State School, located at 24-58 James Rd, Beachmere QLD 4510 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement program.

The refurbishment includes 2 Classrooms, PWD amenities, sensory room, Outdoor learning area and teachers prep. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with adequate site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ $1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
