Downhole Pumps and Pressure/Temperature Gauges Installation
The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) manages the former Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) Site at Hopeland, Queensland.
In accordance with the site management requirements, 7 (seven) wells were drilled across the site to monitor the Macalister A and B seams of the Walloon Coal Measures and the overlying Springbok Sandstone for impacts resulting from previous UCG activities. The Contractor will deliver and install downhole pumps together with pressure and temperature gauges in 2 (two) wells in accordance with Basis for Well Design, Macalister Monitoring Wells rev 2.2 and Basis for Well Design, Springbok Monitoring Wells rev 2.4
