View Contract Details

The scope of works shall include:

• Complete a visual inspection (condition assessment) of the three regulated structures;
• Review latest inspection reports, operational plans (if available) and any available engineering design or construction documentation;
• The visual inspection must be completed by an RPEQ considered to be a ‘suitably qualified and experienced person’. The inspection will involve a visual assessment of the current condition and adequacy of the structure with regard to dam safety;
• The hydraulic performance of each regulated structure will be reviewed against the hydraulic performance requirements documented in the last regulated structure inspection report (GeoEng, 2018);
• The implementation status of previous inspection recommendations/actions shall be reviewed and documented;
• Current operation of the structure will be reviewed against the operational plan (if available);
• The water level in water containment structures will be estimated from the recent Lidar or during the inspections and/or requested from site personnel at or close to the 1st November in order to determine compliance against DSA criteria. The DSA assessment will be conducted using the Method of Deciles Approach;
• Following the inspection of each regulated structure, the Supplier shall determine whether the current condition and operation of each structure is adequate for its current purpose and whether the structure is compliant with the requirements of the EA;
• Provide recommendations to address any identified defects, deficiencies, issue relating to dam safety or non-compliance with relevant EA conditions;
• A photographic record of the current configuration and condition of each structure will be documented during the inspection and included in the final documentation; and
• Following the completion of the visual inspections, the Supplier shall deliver a certified regulated structure inspection report that includes recommendations for any repairs and maintenance.
