QUT seeks to appoint a suitably qualified Coffee Shop/Cafe retailer with proven experience in the fitout, management and successful operation of a similar outlet, on its Gardens Point Campus.
It is envisaged the outlet will continue to offer a similar style & menu as the existing operation, primarily including made to order coffee, tea and other hot and drinks and a range of pre-prepared light meal and snack options.
QUT reserves the right to consider alternative food usages for the space depending on Submissions and the existing food offer on campus.
From the Tenders received, QUT may select a Respondent to fitout and operate the tenancy in return for a three (3) year lease term.
A lease term beyond three (3) years may be considered at QUTs sole discretion, depending on usage and relevant successful experience.
The successful retailer will then be required to:
• Fitout, supply & equip the premises to a design approved by QUT;
• Pay a competitive rental return to QUT;
• Bear the necessary ongoing costs, including specific outgoings (ie. electricity, water, gas).
