Phase 1 Kara Crescent to Honeyeater Lookout (Map 01):

  • Reinstate drainage and track wough buoys to reduce erosion and control water velocity during heavy rain events, to the walking/MTB trail in the Kara Crescent to Honeyeater lookout section of Conway national park.
  • Repair erosion and reinstate concrete water diversion bars, wough boys and rock armoring on the walking track leading up to the Honeyeater lookout from Kara Crescent steps where required.
  • Relay road base where needed level and compact and reduce trip hazards,

 

Phase Two Mt Rooper Shared Use Trail (Map 02).

  • Reinstate drainage and track wough buoys to reduce erosion and control water velocity during heavy rain events along the length of the Mt. Rooper walking/MTB trails, use natural material and rock armor on areas of high-water velocity, sharp switch backs and in forming wough buoys
  • Repair any erosion through reforming existing drainage lines and introducing improved drainage in areas of Hi impact damage.
  • In areas of compaction / erosion replace base material introduce new Geo hex and layer of decomposed granite and compact.

Phase 3 Brandy Ck to Honeyeater Bloodwood track Junction (Map 03)

  • Reinstate drainage and track wough buoys to reduce erosion and control water velocity during heavy rain events along the length of the Conway Circuit from Brandy Creek through to the Honeyeater Bloodwood Junction, use natural material and rock armor on areas of high-water velocity and in forming wough Buoys
  • Repair any erosion through reforming existing drainage lines, cleaning out culverts and introducing improved drainage in areas of High damage.

Notes

  1. All materials sourced off site and clean of any organic contaminants
  2. All Machines will need a weed free declaration
  3. Any rock Armor to be of similar colour to the existing trail surface with no variation in colour
