The Department of Environment and Science (DES) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor, with demonstrated relevant skills and experience in fencing projects, whilst causing minimal environmental impact, will be engaged as follows:
Remove and dispose of previous fence line from Site A (Nerang NP).
Clear vegetation along fence alignment for new fence line to be installed where required
Install new fencing, gates and wing fencing as per below
Nerang NP
150m galvanised steel post and double rail fence to be installed along NP boundary
1 x galvanised steel gate to be installed at designated entry point
Removal of existing fence (approx.50m)
Tamborine NP
Installation of 2 x galvanised steel gates at designated entry points
Installation of 30m galvanised steel post and double rail wing fencing to steel gates
Installation of 60m galvanised steel post and double rail fence at unauthorised access tracks
All works to adhere to any relevant Australian standards and local council requirements.
Preferably, this project will commence in March 2021 and be completed by no later than Friday April 16, 2021.
