The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a outdoor learning area at Lowood State High School, located at 34 Prospect Street, Lowood QLD 4311, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The works include the design and construction of new terraced concrete seating areas, built into an existing sloping bank. The position of the site is right in the middle of the school with limited site access and concrete pumbing is going to be a challenge. All works are to be completed by 16 April 2021
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Structural Landscape) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
