REQUIREMENTS & TIMING

Location:  Monto – Mt Perry Rd and Kerwee Rd Intersection

 

5,000 tonne Type 2.1 pavement material

3,500 tonne Type 2.3 pavement material

1,000 tonne backfil/overlay material

250 tonne bedding sand

250 tonne rock (150mm minus)

150 tonne 10mm precoated aggregate

225 tonne 14mm precoated aggregate

 

Note: Screenings will be delivered into stockpile however all paving materials will be delivered directly onto the road.

Project Specification

General

All work associated with the Offer shall be performed in accordance with the Department’s Technical Standard:

-       MRS05 (11/20) – Unbound Pavements NEW SPECIFICATION

-       MRS22 (07/20) – Cover Aggregate.

-       MRS50 (09/20) – Specific Quality System Requirements

Testing Requirements

The Offeror shall undertake testing of the material using a NATA Certified Laboratory for the scope of testing required and registered (unconditional) with the Department of Transport and Main Roads as a CMT Supplier. This laboratory shall not subcontract any part of the scope of testing without express approval of the customer.
