Rest Area Facilities in the Wide Bay Region require upgrading this includes but is not limited to refurbishment.
Below is a list of all the required rest area ablution facilities that require repair or upgrades by 18 June 2021.

Site 1 – Rest Area 74
- Box out and concrete extension of path from ramp to seal edge. Relocate bins out of the way.
- Repaint cubicle doors and attach unisex signs (including braille)
Site 2 – Rest Area 110
- Fix plumbing (urinal not flushing)
- Re-roof toilet block including clear panels
- Re-gutter toilet block
- Install epoxy flooring in toilets.
Site 3 – Rest Area 111
- Patch up and paint internal walls.
- Remove entry way concrete and replace with single apron to road edge
Site 4 – Rest Area 112
- Extensive clean
- Carry out plumbing repairs (ladies toilet leaking while flushing from seal joint at the back)
- Remove/ repaint graffiti
- Replace signs in toilet block (including braille)
Site 5 – Rest Area 107
- Repaint internal walls
- Apply epoxy flooring
- Replace entire roof
- Install urinal in Men's toilet
- Replace locks on doors
- Replace toilet signage (include braille)
- Add toilet paper dispensers
Site 6 – Rest Area 244
- Apply epoxy flooring
- Upgrade toilet block signage (include braille)
Site 7 – Rest Area 16
Site 8 – Rest Area 115
- Repaint interior and exterior
- Replace cubicle doors and framing
- Install epoxy flooring
- Upgrade signage (include braille)
Site 9 – Rest Area 21
- Repaint smaller toilet block inside.
- Re-roof both toilet blocks including clear panels and fall protection wire.
- Install epoxy flooring to both toilet blocks
Site 10 – Rest Area 17
Site 11 – Rest Area 108
- Repaint toilet block inside.
- Reroof toilet block including clear panels.
- Re-apply epoxy flooring.
- Replace pressure pump.
- Replace plumbing where required.
- Upgrade of signage on toilet block (including braille)
- New septic lid required
NOTE: Submitted offers are to be all inclusive of all costs IE labour, plant materials and any subcontract costs to provide the facilities mentioned above.
This request for quote may be awarded to more than one supplier.
Works schedule will have to be coordinated with the project manager so supplementary on-site activities can be carried out in a timely manner.
