Private Protected Area Program Nature Refuge Landholder Services Delivery
The Department of Environment and Science (the department) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified organisations with the knowledge, skills, experience and resources to deliver nature refuge landholder services in collaboration with the PPAP.
Potential suppliers are invited to put forward their ideas and innovative service delivery models that support the department’s strategic priorities for the PPAP. This includes the delivery of nature refuge landholder services that increase landholder management capacity (effective management of the significant natural and cultural values of nature refuges), establishment of a program of monitoring and evaluation to support effective nature refuge management, and facilitating meaningful and well-considered experiences that foster positive landholder engagement with the PPAP. These services may be delivered through direct, on-ground engagement or indirectly, for example through facilitated training and technological applications (e.g. field data capture app).
Respondents evaluated as suitable through this EOI process will be invited to quote for a two year nature refuge landholder services contract, anticipated to commence from July 2021.
