Wallaman Falls concept planning

Wallaman Falls National Park is 51 km south-west of Ingham and is part of the traditional lands of the Warrgamaygan Aboriginal people. 'Nginba Warrgamaygan Ngarji'. The falls are the highest, permanent, single-drop waterfall in Australia, Wallaman Falls is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, home to some of the oldest rainforests on earth and many endangered plants and animals.

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships (QPWS&P) aims to upgrade the visitor facilities and visitor experience to a higher standard for safer use whilst maintaining the National Park's unique beauty and values.

The visitor facilities have received various upgrades over the years however a review of the entire site condition and a plan to prioritise the upgrades is required.
