Strengthening domestic and family violence risk assessment in Queensland

The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women requires a supplier to review, refine and validate the existing Queensland domestic and family violence common risk and safety framework (CRASF) and associated risk assessment tool/s, in response to learnings from an integrated service response trial and recommendations of the associated evaluation.
This project is expected to be completed within nine (9) months from the date of commencement. Outcomes of this project will include a clearly articulated, culturally considered framework to guide the use of the risk assessment tool/s, clearly defined terms to support shared understanding and a common approach to recognising and responding to domestic and family violence in Queensland as well as validated and reliability tested risk assessment tool/s that can be used across government and non-government sectors.
