Executive Recruitment
The current JCU Vice Chancellor and President has announced her upcoming retirement from JCU to come into effect in late 2021. This contract is to engage an executive search firm to undertake the recruitment of a new Vice Chancellor.
It is a requirement of the selected firm to promote, source, attract, screen and select exceptional candidates for consideration by the selection committee. The firm will be responsible for thoroughly screening (including background and psychometric assessments) suitably qualified and experienced candidates as part of their recommendations.
The search is to be conducted on both a national and international level with preference for Australian and New Zealand candidates in the first instance.
A condition of contract will be that the successful respondent will exclusively deal with JCU and not recruit a Vice Chancellor for any other University at the same time.
