Vegetation Management
This Contract is for the supply of Vegetation Management services. These services will be performed on the DNRME site located - Former Carbon Energy (Bloodwood Creek) UCG Site, Cnr Beelbee Rd and Glen Mona Rd Kogan, QLD 4406. The service will be performed at the discretion of the customer and timings may be varied due to operational requirements.
The service is required for an annually averaged period of 260 hours. The usual spread of hours will be 2 x days of 10 hours each per month. These hours will be confined to normal site operating hours (7am – 5pm Monday – Friday). Equipment for vegetation management is housed at 357 Kummarows Rd and the service provider will be required to transport equipment from its housing location to the Carbon Energy site and returned to the housing depot upon completion. Vehicle tow capacity 1500 kg (or as suitable for a Zero Turn Mower of 766kg plus trailer and cargo). Trailer capacity and deck dimensions Minimum free deck space of 2.4m long x 1.8m wide. Minimum carrying capacity of 1000kg.
The service will consist of:
Mowing using a “Ride On” Mower
Brush Cutting with a “Whipper Snipper”
Slashing using a zero turn mower/slasher
Daily pre-starts and minor maintenance
Application of herbicide to control weeds and regrowth
