The Supplier is required to recover and replace the existing downhole pumps and associated downhole instrumentation from the 4 (four) water monitoring wells.
It is expected that the new downhole pumps and instrumentation will:
- Be safe to operate considering the risk of hazardous areas;
- Be readily operatable and serviceable with a warranty (relevant certificates must be provided);
- Be reliable and readily repairable with acceptable delays;
- Be sufficiently robust under local environmental conditions;
- Be an engineered system compliant with relevant state and national guidelines and standards;
- Have functionality and capability to allow to take formation water samples;
- Have functionality and capability to allow pressure and temperature data acquisition from downhole Sensors;
Downhole Pumps
The new pumps installed are to be low flow (~0.5L/min) and double valved (or similar approved), with capacity to be driven by compressed nitrogen. They should be installed within the screened/gravelled interval of the well to maximise sampling efficiency.
Pressure and Temperature Sensors
Pressure and temperature sensors must be replaced by the same or equivalent, with capability to be connected to the existing logger system.
