Revegetation Land Officers
The DoR project team are undertaking several site improvement and remediation activities throughout 2021, in addition to routine care and maintenance requirements.
This work activity is part of a revegetation work stream, to progress initial reinstatement of vegetation in areas of the mine identified at final landform and suitable for commencement. Ground stabilisation and improvement activities in target areas will be completed prior to commencement of this activity.
This activity involves the planting of tube-stock trees, raised in an offsite nursery (by others) for a period of 3-6 months, in selected areas onsite. Revegetation zones are shown below (for reference only).This contract is to provide Traditional Owner land officers to assist with onsite revegetation activities, primarily the planting of 500 tube-stock trees within revegetation zones, on an hourly hire basis.
