Evaluation of the Townsville Community Youth Response (TCYR) and Community Youth Response and Diversion (CYRD) Programs
The evaluation of the CYR initiative focusses on the four following programs:
• After Hours Diversion services
• OSD delivered Case Management
• Bridging to Flexischool (educational bridging program)
• Cultural Mentoring
The evaluation will be held from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023 and will involve a number of deliverables and stages as specified within this document. The findings from this evaluation will be used to:
• inform policy and service system improvements;
• assess the effectiveness of the CYRD programs (i.e. have they achieved short/medium term intended outcomes?);
• build evidence about effective CYRD programs through robust evaluation;
• promote continuous quality improvement; and
• inform future decisions.
