| Mackay Regional Council (MRC) has a current workforce of approximately 1,100 employees and managed a budget of $311M expenditure during the 2019/20 financial year.
With a focus on improved service delivery to the Mackay community, MRC face a number of challenges including technology advances, increased customer expectation, spatial distribution of services and budgetary constraints.
MRC is seeking the services of an independent body to complete a review of the following existing frameworks:
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Corporate Performance Planning and Reporting
- Policy Framework
The review shall assess the current state of these frameworks against and optimised future state. As part of the review, MRC requires all gaps to be identified and an action plan (inclusive of specific actions, an understanding of time required to complete and resource implications) developed to support MRC moving forward.
