| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the proposed refurbishments to the Block D amenites at Kuraby Special School, located at 83 Alpita St, Kuraby Qld 4112, as part of the Amenities program.
The scope includes refurbishments to the existing toilet block, new PWD and ambulant toilet and roof replacement. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 14th January 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
