| REQUEST FOR QUOTE: SLQ 033/2021 First 5 Forever: A Book for Every Little Queenslander Book Printer
The Library Board of Queensland (State Library of Queensland (SLQ)) (the Customer) is offering a unique opportunity in issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) with the objective of engaging a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to manage the printing and freight process for the it's ‘First 5 Forever: Board Book for Every Little Queenslander Project’.
The First 5 Forever: Board Book for Every Little Queenslander Project will produce one (1) Queensland board book for distribution and provided free of charge to every child born in Queensland in 2022. Approximately 65,000 copies of the board book is required for distribution throughout the year 2022. The first shipment of a minimum of 2500 books, for delivery to the Customer is due no later than 8 December 2021.
To ensure quality books are produced, the Customer is seeking to engage one (1) reputable and highly experienced Australian based print brokers or global printing company with offices based in Australia to manage the printing and freight process.
The printing broker or printing company and the project’s expert book designer will collaborate to ensure print-ready files are supplied that are compatible with the printer’s digital or offset printing requirements.
