The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for replacement of the epoxy flooring in the Industrial Technology Department (ITD) block at Bremer State High School, located at 133/153 Warwick Rd, Ipswich QLD 4305, as part of the Targeted Maintenance program.
The working includes removal of all equipment and furniture from the building, including electrical disconnections and storage in contractor supplied containers. Preparing the flooring for new epoxy and then returning all the equipment into the building, refixing to the floor and re-connecting the power. Once the equipment has been placed, returning to install yellow safety lines on the floor in epoxy, The position of the building is at the side of the school with easy site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of January 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
QBCC Licensing
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
