The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of ITD Block Upgrade at Aldridge State High School, located at 47 Boys Ave, Maryborough QLD 4650, as part of the School Infrustructure Enhancement program.
The ITD Block Refurbishment consists of a new Shade Structure, new welding bays and extraction, new steel racking, new portable steel trolley, new quench tank, new equipment enclosure, new lights and fans, new steel fencing and gates. The position of the building is at the back of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 14 January 2022.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
