QUT GP Campus J Block Workshops Air Tempering
Gardens Point, J Block Workshops Air Tempering
This project is to provide air tempering to the 3 workshop teaching spaces on the bottom floor of J block.
Works are detailed in the attached design documents, and generally includes:
Upgrade of the chilled water pipework throughout J block, and removal of redundant pipework.
Design, supply and install of new chilled water fan coil units to rooms J102, 105 and 112.
Provision of chilled water pipework for future air conditioning services to room J117.
Design, supply and install of a new MSSB powered from the existing MSSB located in J232.
Integration of the new fan coil units into the existing BMS, with wall controller for on/off user toggling.
Install CO2 sensors with alarms and warning lamps in each room to ensure the minimum volume of outside air is provided to the space, via open windows, whilst the fan coil units are in operation.
Please note that the works will need to be undertaken between teaching semesters from 20 November 2023 – 23 February 2024.
A site visit will be conducted by Adrian Price, QUT Project Manager, Capital Works on Wednesday 12 July 2023 at 10am at the QUT Gardens Point Campus. It is highly recommended that tendering contractors attend this visit.
