Stage 2 Separable Portions Landscape Construction Contract, Songbird Oxley Stage 2A, Lot 202 (eastern hillside), External Road and Stages 2B & 2D landscaping works
Economic Development Queensland is seeking proposals to deliver Landscape Contracting goods and services within the Songbird Oxley – Stage 2 development.
The Landscape Contractor will be selected to complete Separable Portions 1 and 2 Landscaping Works as set out in the Stage 2 landscape design documentation, with predominately native tree species selected to complement the existing tree environment in Songbird Oxley estate. Award of Separable Portion 2 works is subject to and conditional upon the successful contractors rates being generally consistent with their Separable Portion 1 works rates, EDQ reserves the rights to retender Separable Portion 2 works if the successful contractors rates are not consistent with Separable Portion 1 awarded rates. The Stage 2 Separable Portions Landscape contractor works will include but not be limited to:
Separable Portion 1:
Stage 2a streetscape and turfing works.
Stage 2a pocket park (3,478 sqm) consisting of retaining, pathway and boardwalk works.
Planting of the 1.29-hectare Lot 202 eastern hillside open space area to enhance slope stability.
Planting and turfing works (in road reserve) associated with external road upgrade works in Seventeen Mile Rocks Road, Oxley.
Separable Portion 2:
Stage 2d streetscape and turfing works.
Stage 2b public recreation space (1.8 hectares) and provision for Nature Play Area.
