For the Provision of Legal Services to Address Unmet Legal Need
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for suitable Queensland Community Legal Centres (CLCs) to provide legal assistance services to persons with unmet legal needs.
Due to the cessation of a funded program prior to 30 June 2025, funding has been returned to the Legal Assistance Service Program (LASP). DJAG is reinvesting $774,245 (GST exclusive) of returned funds of both Queensland and Commonwealth Government funding for the purpose of Queensland Community Legal Centres (CLCs) delivery of legal assistance services to persons with unmet legal need(s).
The funding expires on 30 June 2025, therefore the funding is most suitable for the expansion of existing services or a short project (i.e., not ongoing service delivery or a pilot).
Applications must propose services that are time limited and distinct to an emerging need(s) (not systemic issues), for example in terms of client groups, service types, areas of law, or geographical locations.
If proposing a short project, applicants are encouraged to provide a project plan with their application which should include a clear exit strategy.
Each CLC will only be permitted to submit one application.
The maximum tender amount per application is $258,000 GST exclusive.
For detailed information on the specific goods / services sought under this tender, please review the "Specification Documents" in "Section 3 - Here is the detail".
