CN 22351 Benefits Reporting and Assurance Support 2024

The Transport Analysis Unit (TAU) within TSP undertakes data collection and analysis to support evidence-based decision making, including the development of forecasting models and tools. Every year since July 2015 TAU develops a Portfolio Benefits Assessment or Queensland Transport Snapshot (the Snapshot). This assessment includes a complex interactive dashboard which reports on the performance results for the 29 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set out in the Transport Coordination Plan 2017-2027.

In order to support the Unit’s responsibilities in providing an assurance role for benefits reporting across TMR’s Transport Infrastructure Portfolio (TIP). TAU of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking a part-time suitably qualified professional/s or team, under supervision, to work collaboratively with TMR's Integrated Performance and Insights (IPI) team and other relevant TMR personnel to deliver against a range of high-level tasks as specified in the below work order objectives and scope.

This work can be delivered by either one or two contractors, depending on the contractor skillsets & proposal from the successful offeror. The nominated resource/s will report to the Contract Manager and be based at 61 Mary Street, Brisbane when required to work in the office with IPI team. TMR staff are currently working 50% from the office and 50% from home, however this may return to 100% in the office at any time.

A contractor or team is sought to work within the TAU for the period from an agreed date between mid - February 2023 and November 2023. The number of days per week the contractor will be engaged for will be agreed upon during the inception meeting and may change throughout the contract in line with project requirements. If required, a modified schedule can be proposed by the contractor depending on availability. The contractor will need to be able to start with minimal experience, so two (2) or more years’ experience in data/economic analysis, transport planning or modelling, as well as demonstrated experience using Tableau and Alteryx would also be an advantage. Demonstrated project experience in performance reporting would also be well regarded.
