| During the bid phase for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Transport Analysis Unit (TAU) developed a single source of truth PostgreSQL database to capture key data assumptions and outputs. This database also contains key linkages to transport models, tableau dashboards and ERSI ArcGIS maps and web maps.
TAU is now looking for a suitably skilled and experienced Data Engineer with Cloud Architecting capabilities to assist with improving the database governance, security, version control, storage and workflow automation to other products.
TAU is seeking a single lead candidate to provide services as directed by the TAU Contract Manager, approximately 2 days per week working from both the TMR offices and the consultant’s own premises. It is also expected that the candidate will have access to support from the consultant’s pool of resources should the lead candidate need to delegate any tasks.
