| Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is undertaking planning to inform transport operations and services associated with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (B2032).
During B2032, TMR will provide a range of additional public transport services to facilitate sustainable and efficient access to competition venues for spectators and workforce. Event park and ride (as separate to existing P'n'R at public transport stations) will form a key part of the transport strategy – particularly in areas less well serviced by existing or planned public transport.
Indicative suburb locations for event park and ride have been identified noting that many aspects of the Games masterplan will change in the years to 2032 including number of sports, venue locations and servicing strategies.
To inform the development of flexible strategies going forward, a strategic assessment of potential event park and ride supply is required.
