The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) supports the Queensland community, economy and environment by managing water resources in a sustainable manner. DNRME has been considering the expansion of contactless water flow measurement techniques to improve the quality, frequency and reliability of water flow data collected for select Queensland water resources. The intention of this EOI process is to explore with Queensland industry new and innovative solutions that can leverage a range of existing investments and technological capabilities to develop a solution that enables Contactless Water Flow Monitoring (CWFM) of water resources across the state. This is only an EOI and registered to enable release on Q-Tender, no contract will be awarded from this market testing exercise and ITP DAF will be engaged to proceed with formal ITO under the Departments ICT Project Management Framework.
