Section 1

Tender Overview

Energy Queensland is seeking submissions from respondents with the proven capability and experience for Pole Freight Services.  The services to be provided will include collection, transportation, back loading of poles, including all the necessary handling and management of poles and materials.

The scope of services to be provided by the Contractor shall include but not be limited to:
• Transportation of poles from the pole supplier to direct to a depot, and/or peg location, bulk locations and bulk location to depot;
• Management of the Contractor's obligations under the Contract; and
• Supply of all equipment and personnel required to perform the Contract.

Bulk Storage Facilities are proposed to be located at:
• Cairns area – Tropical Coast Region; and
• Townsville area– Herbert Region.
