Tender Overview

The scope of services for this procurement activity is medical domiciliary equipment hire services which includes:

  1. Supply of medical equipment to support community-based care including mobility aids, living aids, personal alarms
  2. Delivery of equipment to sites across the Gold Coast region, including GCHHS sites, client’s private residence, Residential Aged Care Facilities
  3. Equipment set up and ability to provide basic instruction to patients and/or their families and carers on safe use
  4. Dismantling and collection of equipment

The Supply of equipment will assist in transition of patients from a hospital setting to an environment where their final episode of care can be compelted. Equipment will therefore be used by patient and care staff in the delivery of care services outside of a hospital setting.

Categories of equipment which are required in achieving the Customer objectives are:

  1. Personal Care
  2. Mobility
  3. Wheelchairs
  4. Chairs
  5. Beds (including bariatric)
  6. Hoists
  7. Pressure therapy
  8. Medical/Pumps
