Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Provision of a Privileged Account Management Solution - 510316

Council is seeking Proposals for the provision of a Privileged Account Management Solution.

Council currently has a custom built PAM solution, DBA portal (Password portal), that currently stores shared privileged account details including administrative accounts, super user accounts, service accounts and application to application accounts. The solution provides the functionality to store shared privileged account credentials and access to the credentials via group based access controls. Council is concerned that the solution is out of date and there is no upgrade path available to it. To address this inadequacy, Council is seeking to procure a software solution for Privileged Account Management (PAM) from the market.

The objectives of this Request for Proposal are as follows:

  • Replace existing legacy DBA portal (password portal) solution;
  • Provide a centralised storage location for shared privileged account credentials;
  • Provide a highly available solution that privileged account holders can access account credentials securely;
  • Provide the ability to monitor shared privileged account usage; and
  • Provide the ability to control unauthorised and unmonitored privileged account access.
