Medical Imaging Informatics Solution Forward Procurement Schedule
Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) will be releasing to the open market a Request for Solution (RFS) for an innovative, integrated Medical Imaging Informatics Solution (MIIS) that covers the functionality typically associated with a Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), Universal Viewer (UV) and Patient Queuing and Wait Management System (PQWS).
As the GCHHS is seeking proposals for an integrated MIIS, only responses from single organisations or a consortium of organisations headed by a prime contractor who can deliver a full solution, will be considered.
GCHHS is employing a Co-Design Procurement Methodology to identify an implementation Partner who will work collaboratively with GCHHS in the design, planning, implementation and support of the MIIS. Evaluation of the RFS will lead to an Implementation Planning Study (IPS) performed jointly by GCHHS and the preferred Partner.
As an outcome of a successful IPS and acceptable final bid, the Partner may, at the discretion of GCHHS, be invited to implement the designed solution.
The tentative release date of this RFS is in the week commencing 21 September 2015.
