Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking information via a Request for Information from suitably capable suppliers of smartcard production services to meet its requirements for the provision of a range of smartcard and non-smartcard products.

TMR currently issues customers a number of card based products, including the following: driver licences, proof of age cards (18+), recreational marine licences and high risk work licences. TMR issues approximately 1.5 million card products (of all types) annually.

The information obtained from this Request for Information will be used to inform the strategy for procurement of the production service.  Suppliers of smartcard production services are strongly encouraged to submit to this Request for Information, as TMR may contact suitably capable suppliers identified from this process to respond to a future tender for the provision of the Service.

Submitters must complete and return Section 7 - Schedule of Particulars, including completed Submission Forms (signed by an authorised person).
