Section 1

Tender Overview

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Service Delivery Knowledge Base Solution.

Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking a solution replacement for its existing IBM Notes knowledge management repository. The target solution will deliver services necessary to enable content creation, curation, release, publication, and state-wide access to the repository. The solution will embody powerful enterprise discovery capability and options for content personalisation and audience viewpoint tailoring. Foundational security, lifecycle workflow, and records management requirements also require resolution to meet the information management needs of the initiative. The repository embodies core policy, standard, process, and procedural detail necessary to support operational service delivery state-wide for its customer service and personal transport business areas.
Vendor services are also required to attend to the associated significant data migration activities involving the transition of data from the current to target state solution environment. The existing repository manages over 5000 active documents each possessing deep archive history and lifecycle data evidencing document history change management.

For detailed information on the specific goods / services sought under this Expression of Interest, please review the "Specification Documents".
