Tender Overview

 

The State of Queensland (the State), through the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) acting in partnership with the Department of Environment and Science Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced Proponents in commercial barge operations and development in a marine environment, to develop a commercial barge service landing facility at the northern
arm of Scarborough Boat Harbour (SBH) for services to Bulwer, Moreton Island.

The State objectives for the Project are to improve utilisation of underdeveloped areas within SBH, and provide opportunities for increased tourism related activities in the Moreton Bay region.

Any Proponent wishing to lodge an EOI Response must complete, execute and lodge with the State a Deed of Acceptance (Response Form 5).
