Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Government represented by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is inviting industry participants to participate in a market sounding process in relation to TMR’s intention to procure services for the Digital Messaging Network Project (DMN Project) as specified in Section 2 - Project Background.

The key objectives of the market sounding process are for TMR to:

  • gauge market interest in the DMN Project;
  • better understand the commercial and operating models that may be applied to the DMN Project;
  • clarify market expectations in terms of the DMN Project, including the project scale, commercial viability and achievability of TMR's Project Objectives; and
  • obtain market input to assist with finalising the procurement model

The process does not constitute an invitation to offer and is only a market sounding exercise.

For detailed information on the specific information sought under this process, please review the "Market Sounding Brief" in "Section 2 - DMN Project Background".

Respondents are asked to respond by filling the separately attached Word document TMRICT18211 DMN Schedule 2.
