Section 1

Tender Overview

The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) has issued this invitation to offer (ITO) with the objective of implementing a new technology solution, and the associated implementation and support services to replace its legacy Child Death Register.

Under the Family and Child Commission Act 2014 (the Act), the QFCC has the responsibility to maintain a register of deaths of children and young people (under the age of 18 years) that are registered in Queensland. The data contains highly sensitive, personal information relating to deceased children, their families and other persons associated with the child and, as such, is classified as 'sensitive'.

The core capabilities, at a high level, required of a new solution include, but are not limited to:

  •  Client Management
  •  Case Management
  •  Process Management
  •  Case Work
  •  User Experience
  •  Search
  •  Reporting and Analytics
  •  Integration with corporate systems
  •  Technical and security requirements
  •  Future portal and collaboration capabilities
