Tender Overview

The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) has embarked on a digital transformation journey to improve client, customer and staff satisfaction whilst also improving our enterprise capabilities.

The DJAG Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Strategy recognises the need to challenge, integrate and modernise our approach to the delivery of justice services in support of our departmental vision of justice for all through safe, fair and responsible communities. The ICT strategy presents a set of solution themes that include:

  • Uplifting the capabilities of our business applications to enable new levels of service delivery
  • Providing citizens and our sector partners with an optimised, digital experience of our departmental services
  • Enabling secure access to and exchange of information in order to support business processes, decision making and reporting
  • Process improvement and automation to increase efficiency

Accordingly, an open tender will be released to the market in early 2020 seeking a partner with proven technical capability and expertise in delivery. The successful offeror will implement new, scalable enterprise capabilities that will be initially proven through the replacement of DJAG’s juror management system and one of its civil case management systems.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with an agency that is committed to transforming the experience of its customers by introducing modern business systems with new ways of working. Experience with agile product delivery will be highly regarded.
